About Us

Evans Trucking began in the mid-1990s when George Evans transitioned from auto body work to driving truck, eventually building a single-truck operation into what is now a premium cross-border freight company. After years of running his own truck and mastering the efficiencies that would later define the company, George purchased Evans Trucking from his brother in 2005. What started as a handful of trucks has grown into a fleet of over 100 trucks along with trailers, specializing in flatbed, RGN, step deck, and car hauling across Canada and the United States.

Today, the company operates as a true family business, with George’s sons (Jory & Reese) having joined the operation, now leading much of the day-to-day operations. Together, they’ve built Evans Trucking on the principles that guided George from the beginning: integrity, efficiency, and genuine care for both customers and employees. The company has weathered many economic challenges by maintaining these core values while continuously investing in clean, well-maintained equipment and attracting drivers who share their commitment to excellence.

What sets Evans Trucking apart is the combination of specialized cross-border expertise with the personal attention that only a family-owned operation can provide. From George’s early days of building relationships through reliable service and honest communication, to today’s 150+ employee operation, the company remains committed to creating excellent jobs for awesome people while delivering the anxiety-free freight solutions their customers depend on.
